I love it up to and including "Love Lockdown".

Then it's bad news until track 9. Then "Coldest Winter" is great, everything else is 'meh' to me and I think it'd be a lot more cohesive and a stronger album without the rest.

Robocop and Paranoid are meh, but Street Lights is definitely dope.

Only Kanye album I don't like.
Fuck top five, bitch, I'm top four
And that includes Biggie and Pac, whore
And I got an Evil Twin
So who the fuck do you think that third and that fourth spot's for?

Well it didn't critically...

It wasn't universal praise but I'd say fan and critical reaction overall respect the album as an in-the-moment art project that has its place, did what it intended and was a growth.

It was certainly a bold direction to take at such a crucial point, and right after his high from his best (imo) and most cohesive album - Graduation. It's like he hit a bit of a peak there but rather than creating more of the same, he went totally left-field and did something from the heart, and got his creative juices flowing in another direction. I think that freed up his connection to his past work and allowed him to think really vast and big with MBDTF. Impressive scope and ambition, as always.

I've never liked this album but I appreciate the direction Kanye took. He was experimenting but not for the sake of it, but because of how he felt. I still wish he didn't use auto-tune though.

RoboCop is my least favorite track. Every other song is gold though. Really love this album.

This is the only Kanye album I have not yet listened to....I heard mixed reviews about it. I am considering listening to it, but I just don't know, Kanye doesn't rap in it I heard, so I was kinda skeptical.

I wanted an album so rugged nobody could touch it.
Spent a million a track and went over my budget.
Now how in the fuck am I supposed to get out of debt?
I can't rap anymore, I just murdered the alphabet.
