Anyone who says 50 Cent doesn't glamorize the "gangsta" lifestyle is in denial. 50 Cent raps about "hunting and ducking a nigga down like it's a sport," and "getting tired of looking for you and spray your mama crib and let your ass look for me" to sound cool, not to rap about his troubled, violent past. That being said, I generally like 50 Cent, at least his pre-Curtis stuff, but Lupe has a point.

I'm a huge fan but the shit you've been saying for the last 2 years has been nothing but disappointing to me. Get back to rapping and quit this stupid shit.

I have to disagree with Lupe on this one. It's mainly about good parenting and you can't blame it on music/video games/movies. And if there are circumstances that give parents problems, or if they don't really know what to do, then the reason for that is something else. We should look at society and people on a personal level. I'm an avid GTA fan, as well as Slim Shady stuff; and I've never even been in a fight.

I got in more fights before i started listening to hip hop music. Only a correlation but its worth mentioning, hip hop doesnt cause violence. Maybe if someone is angry then rap music could just make them more angry, to the point they do something, but rap music isnt the cause.
