Tech n9ne is walking integrity; he's the example of what TO do, no matter how everybody else is doing everything else or telling you your shit is weird or won't work... or no matter how little you initially sell, even for years... keep at it, and don't compromise. Just get better, and work harder...

The fan base will grow slower but when you do eventually grow a base into the millions, they'll be so loyal and SO into your shit, you'll be unbreakable and in control of everything. Props.

^ That's one way to look at it... OR... Instead of taking his time with his albums, he shits a bunch of them out a year... making millions from impressionable kids that don't realize/care they're buying the same thing over and over again. There's no need to evolve - he's making money, which is his primary goal. It's CLEARLY not about the craft.

People praise his work ethic like it's a good thing he's half-assing release after release. To me, it would be far more impressive if he took his time trying to make a masterpiece... unfortunately that mindset doesn't mesh with the Strange Music business model.

Yeah, and Tech is trying hard to be relevant too. I mean the dude wants features from Future (who is, let's be quite honest, talentless), Rick Ross and many other relevant but totally wack rappers.

I mean it kinda bothers me because his features always ruin his songs. And he always had wack features but now that he's got some cash he has "popular" wack rappers on his songs. Which is honestly pissing me off.
