Machine Gun Kelly and Yelawolf have had their fair share of differences since the latter supposedly fired subliminal shots during the Shady 2.0 cypher at last year's BET Awards. Now, MGK has revived their spar during an interview with MTV News, calling the Alabama rapper an "old man" and that he should respect his elders.

After asked about how he feels regarding comparisons to Yela, he responded, "I love him, man. You gotta respect your elders, and he's an old man so I gotta give it up. I respect all grandpas around the world doin' it big. Salute."

MGK previously downplayed the beef after Catfish Billy dropped his verse during the Shady 2.0 cypher, but Yela later responded, "It's probably the most insulting thing on the planet, to be asked to sign a Machine Gun Kelly autograph."

MGK is just digging his own grave. First he starts shit with Yela, then says he doesn't want beef, and then he makes those comments about Hailie and the whole SXSW thing, and now this... I want Yela to diss him soooo bad. And i'm not talking name drop him in a freestyle, i'm talking full on diss track.

This isn't really accurate though...while Yela is completely justified in destroying MGK now, and I hope he does, the article says that MGK revived the beef.

Yelawolf revived the beef, if anything. MGK humbled himself, and admitted that he was a young dude, and sometimes ran his mouth when he should just shut the fuck up. Yela accepted that apology, and everything was cool. Now, out of nowhere, Yelawolf disrespects him on air. Granted, it wasn't anything insanely provocative, but if MGK said the same about Yelawolf, there would be an outrage so ridiculous that people would be shitting blood here on TR. Regardless of the fact that Yela was saying something we can all agree with, he was being disrespectful for no obvious reason other than to do it.

Before anyone tries to reply with those tweets Kelly made, as if those are justification, I'm sorry but I disagree. The thing about Hayley? That's a young guy saying that a girl that's of the age of consent, at least in my state, is hot. She is, deal with it. It was stupid, sure. He's not that bright, but for a guy like him, "fucking hot" is about as eloquent as it gets. He didn't say he'd fuck her if given the chance, he just said she was hot. The SXSW thing isn't necessarily directed at anyone in particular either. He was saying that artists that have sold over a million don't need a showcase. Up and coming artists, however, can benefit from something like that, as that's what SXSW is all about, it's not your traditional music festival.

People just really want to jump at every little comment he makes, whether or not it's directed at anyone in the Shady camp. This is ironic, because it's the same type of mindset that got this whole situation started. After all, if MGK hadn't been an insecure little child, he wouldn't have felt insulted by Yela's cypher verse. I can't believe that I have to be the guy who says this shit, because I can't fucking stand anything about MGK or his music. I'm just saying, these knee-jerk reactions people have sometimes are a little over the top.

MGK should beef someone of his caliber, not Yela. Image Yela can end his career, but that's just too much as of now. Fuck this beef, who cares?

Honestly i like MGK better than yelawolf. He's more of a well rounded artist and can make a wide range of music and sound unique in his own way where as yelawolf sounds and flows almost the same on every track no matter what the beat is. It takes a special person to really get into yelawolf (I'm a yelawolf fan too so don't go crazy on me). I havent liked much of mgk's new music since hes signed to bad boy, wild boy is corny but hey when you go mainstream the labels make u do that shit.... His Lace Up mixtape before he was signed is very much worth listening too tho

That is a respectable opinion. Unlike half the MGK fans who are just like "Fuck Yelawolf LTFU!!!!!111"
