I never listened to Lil B. Had heard of him over the last couple years, but never cared enough to listen to any of his music. The other day, for reasons unkown, I'm looking at the tracklist for his "Im Gay" album and I notice that one of the songs ("I Hate Myself") samples the Goo Goo Dolls classic "Iris." I love that song, it's a childhood favorite of mine, so I immediately went to check out Lil B's song to see what he did with it. I listen to it, and I immediately fall in love with the song. I listen to a couple other songs from "I'm Gay" and love them. Minutes later I'm buying the album on itunes, and have now been listening to the album non-stop for the last 3 days. Now I've listened to a handful of his other stuff, and admittedly, I don't think I could listened to a full album of "Wonton Soup" type songs, and am still deciding whether I like his other music. Nevertheless, I absolutely love "I'm Gay." Great production. Unique rapping style. I like the way Lil B kinda takes us into his thoughts, you know. So anyway, just wondering what people's thoughts are on Lil B, or "I'm Gay." I still plan on giving some of his other stuff a chance, but I'll hold off until I play the shit out of "I'm Gay."

I still cant figure out if people who like Lil B are just trolling me or being serious. I've never met one person off the internet who even knows who this guy is

I downloaded this album when it came out, Meh , even when his songs have a good purpose or positive concept his still cant rap for shit...... Just my opinion tho, to each his own

Because of me I had him blown up at my high school I started playing him in the locker room and then soon the whole football team was bumping him which led to him being bumped at parties which soon spread to the whole school bumping the Based God. It's one of my most beloved accomplishments.
