Mine are....

1) Kendrick Lamar: GKMC is one of the best albums of recent memory and Kendrick just sounds so unique.
2) Nas: Life is Good was great, nice mature album, and he really doesn't drop bad verses.
3) Action Bronson: Love his style and he has a great ear for beats.
4) Drake: Guilty pleasure, he makes great radio music and can still go hard (5am in Dallas, Started From The Bottom)
5) Danny Brown: Very unique, and a good story teller. Can't wait for his first major album.

Eh, the only recent work I'm not really feeling from Jay-Z was "Suit & Tie". I think the entire song is terrible.

I'm really digging 50's recent work though. "My Life" and "We Up"...both really good songs. Sort of anticipating Street King Immortal, tbh.

I never was a big fan of 50 Cent. Only like a couple of his songs. But now, after what I see on TV and hear around these days (Nicki, Drake, 2Chainz and some rap in my country)-I started to appreciate 50 way more. Even though he really is not "my jam". 50 Cent is really good.
