For downloads, I've got a little gem for you - I think EVERYTHING on here is ripped at 320kbps, over 25 pages of complete discographies and a shit load of other stuff, its a Russan site but it gives you the option to translate into English

Ive listened to music in lower quality and then dowloaded the same thing from that website and it does sound a lot crisper, I'm pretty sure it is legit

If anyone here is a fan of what I've deemed pop-rap (basically college hip-hop i.e. Chiddy Bang, Mac Miller, etc.), then I'm a big fan of goodmusicallday.com.

They like to highlight up and coming rappers and artists too, not just the more mainstream ones like Chiddy Bang. There's even a little bit of indie. The choices are hit-or-miss, but check the star rating underneath each post for a general idea of the user's opinions.

Other than that, 2dope and RR.

Also, for downloading individual songs, I'm sure most of you have heard of grooveshark (free streaming of music, and there's a HUGE selection). You can't download straight from that website (that's why they are able to provide people with free streaming music) but if you can find a song on that website, then you can use SciLor's Grooveshark downloader to download it (just google it).
