Do you never listen to Jay-z? I suggest you go and listen to the early stuff and see if you can still say that. One of the great things about Jay is he never wrote his lyrics, he would think about what he wanted to say in a song, and go in and do it, nothing written. You find me another rapper who does that. Oh Biggie was the same.

As for Dre he aint a great mc. He is the best producer and he is quality but he would not even be in the top 10 mc's.

why are you all saying ''eminem has to be number one''

I agree with ASPIRINE that no can be really best, but comparing eminem to Makaveli, it's makaveli for sure...
respect the legend :spank:

stop dickriding makaveli and placing him above other artists, wen u dont know shit about half of the artists on that list, im tired of little pricks like you that tend to overlook the fact that there are quite a few artists that are influencial in the rap game..

Every great rapper brought something new to the game, 2pac brought controvercy, but that doesnt put him on first place, it puts him on first place for people that only recognise a rapper if hes dead.

true... when they got to the top 3, they were debating on biggie and pac, and everyone pretty much agreed that biggie was a better lyricist.

it's just the way pac said it all and how he said made him just a step up above him.

They should judge rappers by categories of wat they did best that would be much easier to determine.

How can Jigga be #1, shit is rediculous. I mean i like some of Jayz;s albums but hes just plain boring and his writing style is similar to biggies, he brought little inovation to the game.
