For me Pac is n maybe always will be the ultimate rap lyricist, it's not just the topics n the words but the way he delivered them as well - all the passion n intensity of his lyrics just hit u right in the heart

Am i the only one who doesnt consider easy-e to be worthy of that least?

I mean Easy is an important figure and all as far as influence goes but rhymes are fucking wack.

To me, it's definitly Pac!! He's great!! :worship: I love the way he does his flow & how he changes up on songs. He can do it all!! He goes from Dear momma & Keep Your Head up to I get around. He goes from talkin' about killin' people to what's happening in the hood. He's a great battler too. He's even had continuos hit's almost ten years after his death. To me he's the best. :worship:
If I were to die murdered in cold blood tomorrow would you feel sorrow, show love or would it matter?

Balance wise, Pac was the best. From what i know Biggie freestyles the best, even if the lyrics were kinda dumb, he made them ryhme, and thats what freestylin is about, Em is runner up. Em can make like 30 songs about the same subject, and theyll all sound fresh.

who is rakim???? i just heard about him today.

ur kidding right.

Rakim is the person that inveted complex flow back in 86, as well as introduced multicilable rhymes.

To this day he still has the most complex lyrics structure.

i can up some songs for u if u want.

He has been working for aftermath in 2003, he was supposed to make an album produced by Dre(Called "OMG), but the album kept getting pushed back coz for aftermath it wasnt pop enough(long story)..

[im upping the tracks leaked from this album for u coz they aint available for sale, and these songs are most recent]

Rakim use to appear as duet on albums with Erick B - the first album they made is considered a blueprint for rappers to come the album was called "paid in full"( its oldschool[86] but the lyrics still are outstanding )

I would recomend u to buy the "dont sweat the technique" album, that album is in my opinion his best and most consistent.

BUut if ur not into olschool buy one of these album wich hed done in 94 and 97

"18th-letter"

"the master"

Why can't you stupid motherfuckers see that it says "LYRICALLY" Tupac was TRASH lyrically, idiots!!!! Rakim shits on them all, by far. Tupac was a poet, he had no lyrical complexity, at all.
