I wasn't alive for Straight Outta Compton and don't know how much controversy it caused. The Marshall Mathers LP is certainly up there though. And, of my generation, definitely #1.

Straight Outta Compton didn't present as much of a problem for white america as The Marshall Mathers LP which caused complete outrage...that shit made the Congres and the White House, mainly because sold fucking 1.7-something MILLION first week and 10 milli overall.
