Have to disagree. And I'm someone who thinks current Em is pretty awful and who thinks WTT is better than HTS. Fact is, Jay & Kanye could never pull off something like Welcome 2 Hell.

No way.

Ye and Jay just sound like two... well, as one critic nicely put it, something like two 'industry pals' trading verses. They just sound like they're rapping WITH each other.

Where as Em and Royce blend into each other. Like on "Welcome 2 Hell". Finishing each other's lines and mimicking each other's styles, and they just sound perfect together.

Let me play a true or false game with myself.

Almostlity wrote:Ye's & Jay's chemistrey > Em's and Royce's.

False. Even though I do like WTT more than I do H:TS.

TheEminemShow wrote:Obie Trice - New Day remix verse > Any verse on WTT

False + ultimate stannery.

Jay-Z's verse on No Church In The Wild > Every Obie verse ever? True.

GameTheory wrote:The best chemistry on WTT is Gotta Have It, that shit is incredible.

True.

DanWS wrote:Have to disagree. And I'm someone who thinks current Em is pretty awful and who thinks WTT is better than HTS. Fact is, Jay & Kanye could never pull off something like Welcome 2 Hell.

True.

C.R.E.A.M. is right tbh.

But I'll go ahead and say something. No Church In The Wild is far better than any song on RED. Matter of fact, maybe Game's whole catalogue  No I'm not kidding, that song is on another level.

If you think that song is forgettable at all, then you're deaf. That song is the epitome of epic, that is a fact, no matter in which way/perspective you listen to it. It feels like you're hearing/watching a movie. If that's forgettable then I have amnesia towards every rap song in existance.

Its a boring song, none of the song sounds epic to me.
And if you think that songs better than any song on Red then thats your opinion, but none of the songs are simular to No Church In The Wild to compare them. And for the record the Red album also has some forgettable songs.

Wrong. Wrong wrong wrong wrong wrong. The Throne sounds like two guys just rapping verses. BME sounds like one single entity, not two separate people.

Although Jay and Ye sounded like they were having more fun.

I don't usually care about stan comments anymore and just ignore them now but Almostlity you put Kanye on a pedestal far to much, its obsession level tbh.
Eh, I assume a very witty and hilarious picture most likely featuring your favourite rapper will be the response though.

I don't see any chemistry when I listen to their shit personally, but then again I find both rappers incredibly bland to begin with. Admittedly, Kanye used to have a personality, but that's been gone since like, 808s onwards imo. As for Jay, i've just never got into him because there's nothing about him that interests me.

Though I can see why people can claim that Em and Royce have fuck all chemistry, because Em does about 8 shows a year and therefore they never even perform together. Still, I prefer Bad Meets Evil to Watch the Throne fucking easily.

So in response to this thread, ima say that I disagree. But what do I know?
