Holy shit, it doesn't have anything to do whether you anticipated it or not, it had to do with you coming to the conclusion that your opinion was now fact. And yeah, I personally believe that Kendrick Lamar's verse shits all over the majority of Welcome to: Our House except for maybe Joe Budden and Joell Ortiz's verses on Goodbye and Rescue Me, and this isn't even the best Kendrick Lamar can do. You know my opinions on Slaughterhouse's new album already, and I still maintain that their mixtape was easily better than that hand bag mix of songs called an album. And the concept of this song, bar Goodbye, Rescue Me, and maybe Asylum, is more attractive than anything Welcome to: Our House had to offer. It was a bunch of songs rapping about how great they rapped, their dicks, partying, and saying how they didn't compromise. Interesting.

Menzo wrote:^ That's what the SH mixtape was mostly about tbh, but that's irrelevant here.

Yeah, but they still did it better than how they did it on the album. I've never claimed Slaughterhouse to be genius when it has come to subject matter to rap about as a group. But, you're right...I'm done talking about Slaughterhouse here.

So we come to the conclusion that this is just your opinion, right?
There's no need for further discussion and if you read carefully you'd see that I already said my response to Blu was unnecessary.

I still stand by my opinion, Big Sean has no hope.
He can make as much chill music as you guys want....but you'll forget about him once he's 3 albums deep and has yet to come up with new shit to say.

You're still missing the point but it's not worth retyping. Also, I don't listen to Big Sean often if at all. I'm not giving him praise in any means except on 100 where he did fine.

Does it really matter whether it's "garbage" or not? Some people will like it, some won't. Shit. Opinions are opinions. Respect them, even if you highly disagree with them. On that note, I'm downloading the tape to listen for myself.

I gotta break ya fuckin’ heart
I gotta climb these fuckin’ charts (I gotta climb)
I gotta do something that’s innovative
Creative just to create a legacy before death do us part
I gotta spend one summer in Tijuana with Tia and Tia’s momma
Breakfast in bed with plenty of Carne Asada (I gotta)
I gotta find me a wife to elope (I gotta)
I got a fine, cause I aint wanna vote, I promise
I know the history of those who died for the rights for me to survive
But those who lied to the minority will make ‘em turn inside they grave
I can easily pretend like yall, but thats not me
I gotta spread the truth even when the truth can hurt the youth
Need to know every detail about this Earth, the devil controls it
So before you scrutinise how I feel ask God if those polls important
The end is near!

Revolutionary, FUCK YOUR OPINION!!! And i am saying this after playing Tech N9ne's for 4 hours straight. lol Really, how could you call anything about this track besides Big Sean's "lalala" voice garbage?! Did you hear Kendicks PASSION in that song? Man, i'm shaking right now at the power of his words. I mean, i havent heard something this real and personal relating to politics (since i'm not into IT) in FOREVER. Lupe sounds like a preacher and is so detached. Kendrick is in the dead fucking centre of the congregation and is so involved. He is speaking from a place of frustration at the backlash he received for saying he doesnt vote and speaks so simply and clearly and in such a powerful tone...

... I'm more sad than anything at the fact someone could find this song forgettable. Really adds credence to the notion that nothing could be universally appealing.

Best thing about the song is all three sound genuine in their tales no matter how shallow (Sean), non-rap father like (Royce) or politically relevant (Kendrick).
