Well what did we expect? Even if he made good albums since then, (Blueprint and Blackalbum) we all know Jay's rapping has been limp dick shit since the late 90's. Right now he's just doing his best to revive the Puffy era of rap since he knows if that happens he can write a multi-platimun selling album just by writing random phrases, replacing the nouns with bitch, hoe, cars, Rolex, etc.. then stringing them all together. Just like the good ole days of Volumes 2 & 3

But you see, Eminem depends on choruses now. And hell yeah he dumbed down lyrics, look at the transition from Relapse to Recovery after he didn't sell what he expected. I'll live it there. Basically, Recovery was everything he criticized in Syllables.

Also, if you're complaining about him using "ball so hard" again where was all the hate when Eminem referenced Lose Yourself in Richard, or the other times he has referenced his own songs/lyrics.

Edit: and btw, I never said Eminem wasn't innovative or cool. I said his current subject matter isn't.
