is just an opinion right ? :shifty:
It shouldn't even come as a shock since I can find many ppl thinking like me ( and at the same time, so many ppl who will agree with ya :y: )

not rly, are you saying your opinion on these albums are better than mine ?
a lot of ppl will agree with me (and with you)
nothing will determinate which album is better, maybe because it isn't that clear :shifty:
Sells won't give you right, the work put on the album and it's quality neither :shifty:
It's not like comparing a classic album to a random album :X
Get Rich or Die Tryin' was called the most hyped rap debut in over a decade and it didn't disappoint.
With grodt, he was already being compared to posthumous legends like 2pac and Biggie.

don't rly care if you agree or not, it's your right :y: but saying the opinion can be terrible is meh lol :coffee:

Beat him in a GRODT vs Reasonable Doubt debate and he'll shut up, this is why forums are made.

in a cool debate, ofc it can, but as far as I know, you will never prove him wrong, you'll just solidify your opinion.
This is a primary rule when we debate, you HAVE to give credits and the benefit of the doubt to the opposite opinions, always :shifty:

in the "grodt vs Reasonable Doubt" situation, you can bring so many details on the table... not even sure if the debate will end one day as it's pretty impossible to not have something to say about the 2 albums :sweating:
At the end, isn't it all about musical tastes to determine which one is better for you ?

Reasonable Doubt is a lyrical masterpiece and easily the best album from a legend. GRODT is a club album from a poor-decent rapper at best.

Reasonable Doubt, The Blueprint, The Black Album, and American Gangster >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> GRODT.

And yeah TBA is a classic and idk why people are calling it inconsistent. Jay-Z's career overall has been inconsistent and he's acknowledged this, he'll have a fantastic album and then release an average one (AG-BP3), but his discography holds 4 classics imo and not many people are fucking with that

so let's end here, cba with copy/paste what I have said to revolutionary 2 min ago ^^
We know what YOU think about this rapper, that's cool :y:
I just think the complete opposite
While I agree with 50 not being that great lyricist on grodt, I disagree with the rest, 50 can change his flow and I can't remember hearing jay-z doing it like him.
the man had another vision of rap and music, he could bring something new to the table (that's maybe why grodt was a fucking success)

think we can have an interesting debate with you, but we know how it will end, jay's fans gonna put smileys from ktt and aftermathers gonna insult everybody in this thread :shifty:

Yep, everybody is all about beats and hooks.

50's rapping on Get Rich sucks major fucking ass and the content is repetitive as hell and not done creatively at all. Power of the Dollar is way better.

The only thing Get Rich is better at is production, it's a very big memorable album in that vein, and it has a unified sound, but 50 is shit on it, and the ideas are shit.

In terms of rapping, there's no comparison, Jay all day. 50 can't rap for shit.

my 1st song is dope
"I take yall diss as endearment - I love it when I hear it
Maybe words offensive - free speech I don't fear it
Maybe music can take us to a place so atmospheric
Beyond our greatest imagination, illuminatin' experience
If we open our ears and close our inhibitions, it's clear"
