if you take into account the fact that it says 'a short film by kendrick lamar' you can tell thats what he was going for and he pulled it off perfectly. he should make a real movie tbh

I'm holding off to listen until it drops, then I'll vote. Hoping that I can vote for Good Kid though.

After listening to the GKMC many times, this is my list:

1. I'm Dying Of Thirst (yes, I'm separating it from Sing About Me)
2. Bitch, Don't Kill My Vibe
3. Black Boy Fly
4. Sherane
5. Swimming Pools
6. Backseat Freestyle (I like this song, don't understand the hate)
7. Money Trees
8. The Art Of Peer Pressure
9. Now Or Never
10. Poetic Justice (I didn't initially like this song much but it's actually good)
11. m.A.A.d. city
12. Sing About Me
13. good kid
14. Compton
15. The Recipe
16. Real

None of the songs are bad at all by any means. Not even Real. I just don't like the sound of it as much as the other tracks. I dunno, I think GKMC is closer to being a classic than Section.80...I listen to more songs off of GKMC. *Kanye shrug*

It's way to early, lol. Pretty much what Geno has been saying.

Zabe wrote:Section.80 was a grower. The large sentiment I felt from most people is that at first, they thought it was boring and it was only after further listens that it became the near-classic it is.

and this pretty much.

Section.80 took ages to grow on me and now I find it an amazing album.
