doesn't really matter to me to be honest

from a listener's perspective, it's entertainment. if they are purists and want 100% authenticity from their artists, and believe i am not authentic, that's their prerogative and they are free to not listen. if they are entertained by my music and narrative, regardless of perceived levels of truth, then they have nothing to lose. most people dont listen to music for truth, otherwise albums would come with bibliographies and cited sources. no one listens to rick ross for authenticity. he could be a complete liar or 100% truthful, the music is the same.

from my perspective, i know what's true and what isn't. and what i say is true, so i feel no guilt or shame or anything. i may not believe me either, from your point of view, so i'm not offended by doubts. what has happened has happened, my life is my life. i make music for me, and if i happen to make $ off it, even better.

so basically, if you enjoy the music, i'm glad i could give it to you. if you don't, or you do but can't come to grips with your notion that my story is a false one, you are free not to listen. there are thousands of rappers and billions of people in this world, i'll survive with one of those billion not choosing me from that group of thousands of rappers.

exact same response, doesn't matter. if it makes them feel better, pretend i'm rich and live with my upperclass parents. my dad is a lawyer and my mom hosts fundraising dinners for the local pta. i enjoy sipping red wine and vactioning in the hamptons.

doesn't change anything i know about myself, and if they still enjoy the music, fantastic.

i really do have few personal relationships in real life, so any conversation here does mean something to me. i'm just here to share my music and maybe a bit about my life if people are inclined to care. and if not ill survive, like i have for 20-some years.

I listened to the song. It was actually really good. A bit too many effects on the hook and you were slightly off-key at the start of the last verse, but overall, really good.

not professional, normal photo against a wall, just have the contrast turned up in some free photo editing program. and i have some money. believe it or not many "homeless" are actually fine with managing money. i have a bank account (in a friends name), i budget. i just don't have a steady source of income (drug arrest + 0 education + no government ID = not many good jobs). most jobs i have are either part time or....frowned on by police. worked as a security guard, bouncer, janitor, whatever. most money i have is reinvested in music or plane tickets. i don't have the income for paying rent in any place nicer than where i live now, so it's not really worth it. and i don't mind being vagrant, prefer it actually. no one would know i'm homeless, i shower every day, dress normal.
