He said "well-received".

You said they were positive.

So you're agreeing with him. lol.

Shut up

I still stand by my statement that 808s & Heartbreak was his least favored album when it came out though.

What 'change' lmfao?

Kanye had been like that from day one. It was just more visible because he was more famous, and due to the fact it was on live TV / a strange thing to do.

And yeah 808s was initially a mixed reaction, but so are most experimental and drastic changes from the previous. But it certainly wasn't a lowpoint, he didn't get totally blasted for it and it wasn't a dud in any sense; commercially or critically. So it can't be considered something to comeback from.

He had a 7 year stretch between The Chronic and Dr. Dre 2001. Between those albums, he left his label, started a new one, had one single, and tried to jump start The Firm, which didn't do very well.

It was definitely a comeback, and a pretty impressive one at that.

Hmm, I always viewed Kanye as a much more humble person during the rise of his fame (Late Registration, College Dropout era). I saw the boost in his ego around the time Graduation dropped.

He got more and more outspoken, but he was always like he is tbh.

If you go back and check a lot of his interviews, you'll see it.
