Getting real tired of seeing people hate on Kendrick

He's not overrated the way we think he is. He's an extremely good rapper but some sites (hiphopdx for example) said gkmc was the new illmatic.
IMO, this is possible but it's too early to talk about it so ofc course, some ppl can't deal with that

Everyone becomes overrated to some people once that artist begins to get praise that may be warranted, yet exaggerated to some. I find Eminem to be overrated. Some people find Kanye West to be overrated. I don't. I find Hopsin to be overrated garbage. Some find Kendrick Lamar to be overrated. I don't. No reason to let it bother you.

I haven't seen many people hate on Kendrick on this forum at all.

The closest thing I saw to it was when people were saying that LEVITIKUZ's "proof" that Kendrick would be bigger than the biggest rapper ever was pretty weak. Beyond that, no one aside from a few Stanye's have had much negative to say about him. Here and there, you'll see someone say something less than positive about him, but it never really strays too far into negative territory, either.

BTW, I thought all of those songs you listed were only OK. Buuuuuut...that's because I didn't like Section.80 much at all. I appreciated the artistry, but I didn't like the album itself. Couldn't really bring myself to listen to it more than a couple times. On the other hand, Good Kid M.a.a.d City has been on my phone since the day of release, and I've listened to it quite a bit.

Kendrick is an artistic dude, and he brings something to the genre that has been gone from the mainstream for a long time: true, thoughtful creativity. Long live Kendrick Lamar!

IMO he's boring, his voice is annoying as fuck and he raps about the same shit most rappers do. I don't hate him but if anything, he gets too much undeserved praise.
