Accor wrote:the only way you'd find him BAD is if you completely ignore lyricism and only look at the technical aspect of flow (speed, cadence, multies I guess)
even tho he does all of that well :s

I think all of those things are his biggest assets though.
His frantic tone and cadences, I think, are what make him sound so unique. From what I have heard, when he's good, it's unlike anything else I've heard, he has his own voice for sure.

Nah not yet, I'm so lazy.
I just feel bored and lethargic lately; I haven't listened to a new album in ages. Haven't even listened to old albums in ages, have just been sleeping and watching comedy!
I'll get around to them soon enough.

i've never actually seen this guy rap good, his hype is more of a mystery to me than wayne
I'm not trying find another Tech N9ne. There's a Tech N9ne for that. My point is that multi's and flows/speed control are what rap is. Until you incorporate those things into your poetry, it will remain just that.Accor wrote:EminemBase wrote:Accor wrote:the only way you'd find him BAD is if you completely ignore lyricism and only look at the technical aspect of flow (speed, cadence, multies I guess)

although I don't think those are his biggest assets, I agree he does all of those things well. He doesn't rely on forced multies and speed though which is what I was trying to say. Someone who's only interested in fast delivered forced multies might not see why kendrick is held in such high regards
At this point that's how I feel. Kendrick's music sounds extremely bland and boring from everything I've heard thus far.Willy wrote:Elision wrote:http://youtu.be/g2xzryKcma8?t=2m26s
