I find him unique because he doesn't sound like your typical hip-hop artist. He incorporates elements from other hip-hop sub-genres to create a unique sound. His production sounds like the bastard child of the Neptunes and RZA. Then ofcourse you have his deep/raspy voice, which in itself is unique. His lyrics also incorporate more wordplay and metaphors than your typical horrorcore rapper (I honestly don't feel like getting into a discussion in which I break down lyrics).

The only thing I think Tyler and Hopsin have in common is that they're influenced by Eminem (and I think Hopsin sounds like Eminem, while with Tyler you see the Eminem influence, but it doesn't sound like he's biting Em's style). They both have different rapping techniques and their production is different as well.

Just look at Tyler's most popular song (Yonkers) as the perfect example. His lyrics aren't just blatant violence, they are actually quite witty and require playback to catch all the wordplay/punchlines. Then that beat isn't your typical beat (very unique indeed, like much of his work).

As far as you finding him boring, that's definitely opinion based. I find his music very entertaining.

No, I've never heard anyone on TR claim somebody wasn't lyrical because he didn't have multis or didn't use enough multis lol

What???

If multis are a part of being lyrical then I have a completely wrong idea of what that word really means.

Obviously rhyming is a big part of rap...so to me multis are part of being lyrical.

I never dismiss Pac though... bitch niccuh. I have Pac's whole discography, come @ me bro.

Wow, 4 pages guys. Not bad.

Honestly, if the two were combined together into a super rapper.

The production values, lyricism and flow of Hopsin.
The uniqueness, voice and delivery of Tyler.

That rapper would be awesome.

They're both dope, cuz they're from L.A. like me. But seriously though they're both good, but I like Hopsin way better.

That rapper would be: Eminem in his prime. ;)

Naw, you need way more than that.
