Well, he can still rap, I think he proved it but his problem is his laziness & artistic direction :(

Let's honestly face it, Lil Wayne's never been a good rapper. The one thing he's always been good at ever since he got into the rap game is entertaining people, you can't take that away from him. I agree. But apart from that, I mean c'mon, he does not have any songs that have truly marked Hip Hop's history or left you breathless. He might be entertaining to some folks here and there because of two or three funny rhymes in some of his songs, but he just can't give you goosebumps, make you cry or even impress you like Em or any good rappers can.

Thats true, I understand. The dedication 1 & 2 was really good mixtape and Wayne was very goo..err..entertaining on dedication or his old albums. It good to listen to his old shit if you are doing things like cleaning or whatever, where you can hear the music but not heart felt or sing his lyrics to feel what he is going through. Nah fuck that, He dont make those type of music, like Slim or Slug for example.

Explain why? What makes a good rapper to you may be different from what other people think. And Wayne definitely left his mark on hiphop history.

To follow through, people have vastly different tastes. What some might find horrible, some might find it amazing. Soulja Boy still gets fans everyday, even though many people hate him.

You can always bash an artist or someone's personal taste in whatever it is they believe in, but that's not gonna change it. Like insults ever got someone to change their musical taste and views. :coffee:

I shoudn't have put it like that. What I mean is that to me (the 'to me' is important), he still hasn't brought anything to Hip Hop but a bunch of "new fans" who think rapping about hoes and money is what rap is all about. He definitely has some songs that I consider decent, I guess he's just not my cup of tea that's it. At the end of the day to each his own right ? I sincerely feel like he doesn't contribute to Hip Hop at all though, but feel free to feel otherwise man.
