I'm not sure, I was pretty late to the party and listened to Section.80 from this site. And the album slowly grew on me.

But everybody I know in real life that listens to Hip Hop is in love with him.

I know him because Lil Wayne talked about him as the next big artist but I didn't want to listen to him just because of his name ahah.
Now, you can even find people who think that Hip hop is great just because of his last album. I decided to listen to good kid and it blew my mind but I'm still not feeling Ab-Soul and Jay Rock tbh
