there are several levels of goatness, Eminem is probably up there with Pac and Biggie tbh and if he isn't, all he needs is to "die" (well, you know what I mean)

50, kanye, jayz, Nas, etc, they are all legends tbh, they are just not on the same level

Kanye is HUGE. It's already been said before but he really does add an element from every genre into his work; he creates music.

That's the benefit of being one of the world's best producers though. Eminem is strictly hip-hop, though he occasionally adds a few guitar strings and samples a rock song.

They're both hugely popular rappers though, you cannot deny that.

But, OT: If Kendrick was to release another album on the level of GKMC, he'd be renown as the hip-hop king, no doubt about it. In fact, people are already saying he is the hip-hop king now.

Nas deserves more respect, people forget that illmatic influenced hip hop :coffee:

As for Kendrick, he is just a serious contestant right now. No doubts he will be remembered as a sort of legend if he can stay relevant for the next few years but as the real slim shady said, I can't see him reaching Eminem, Big and Pac levels of legend though.
I think he'll be like the new Nas of this generation but kdot and Nas are doing very different things in different ways.

The king ? No
A king ? Yes

The fact that you often see this discussion occurring is a good sign for him

I really never listened to GKMC.. I've seen reviews calling it a classic. Can someone tell me about it? Is it better than any of Em's albums?

Kendrick can't be compared to Eminem, they have different styles and different ways of rapping.
Some fans will say yes and some others will say no. If you ask me, tes and tmmlp were on another level but gkmc was better than any other Em's albums. I avoided this album for months because Stans pissed me off but this is the best debut I have heard since Food & Liquor tbh

This is a prime example as to why you're so fucking stupid. How hard is it to go download the album and listen to it? You really have to ask if it's better or worse than any of Eminem's albums? Really? That's how you judge if something's good?

Calm down, dude. Lmao, it was just a question. And no that's not how I judge things, but since this is an Eminem site I thought I'd ask. It's really sad how you got all butthurt over a question lol you're the only fucking idiot who caught feelings.

If the question's stupid then why comment on it? You seem to be the only one who think it's stupid. I'm not a Kendrick Lamar fan, so I don't listen to his music. But since the album gets praised so much I decided to a simple question, and was it better than any of Em's album. The fact that you flipped over that is an example of how you're butthurt. A simple response like what @Rattle1 said was nice, but you start off your response "This is a prime example as to why you're so fucking stupid." LOL really?

@ShadyxEminem, you should download it, Kendrick really redefined the meaning of "album" with Gkmc.
I think this is exactly why he is praised right now

The question is stupid. You shouldn't take someone else's opinion to form your own. Listen to the album and see if you like it or not.
