Honestly, nobody can say that his first three albums are god-awful.

Lights out was so dope. I remember that era because I heard Wayne rap on some Juvenile song and fucking killed it with ,multies and interior rhymes and funny punchlines. Then I bought Lights Out and it was just a very entertaining baller rap/gangsta rap album. Good rhyme schemes, honest presentation and unique style. I liked a lot of the mixtapes he dropped then as well. 500 degreez was such a letdown. though.

Then, I thought Carter 1 and Carter 2 were both decent even though he ripped off Jay's flow, he was still himself underneath it all. And Mannie Fresh was a beast on Carter 1. But after Carter 3...I don't even listen to him anymore. Same hackneyed flow all the time, lame hashtag punchlines...and he's just lazy as fuck as a writer.

I liked him when everyone thought he sucked because Cash Money was all "balla rap" basically. Lights Out>>>>
