:facepalm :facepalm

Please stop!
Race has nothing to do with liking an album!
There are white Kanye stans here so your whole statement is just stupid!
P.S. You're implying that everyone here is white!

im not saying its about race where white people have something against kanye or jayz, what i am saying is that this is music directly aimed at a black demographic. look at the sounds, the message and topic of the album overall. of course like every generalisation ever made, it doesnt mean everyone, just the majority. of course you will find a lot of people who are white and enjoy this album, but overall, you will notice a very large population of blacks who enjoy this compared to white ppl.

in this discussion forum in particular it absolutely has to do with eminem where he is the reason most of the ppl ever even listened to rap music, and now the attention is on a type of album very different to something eminem ever came out with so there is headscratching as to why its being so highly lauded, thats the majority, the minority is simply jealousy, like that dude who called this album an atrocity, i mean seriously?

again my comment was aimed at a black demographic, so that means that a black person would have just ignored my way of typing and moved on, a white person would have called me out for it and asked me to get an education and an arab would of course turn to violence. my point is proven, everything in life has to do with race!!!

-It's heavily European influenced, full of Dubstep type shit
-It samples Will "Wonderbread" Ferrell
-White people make up the vast majority of hiphop purchases. This is projected to sell 4/500K first week.

whenever sales exceed what the artist usually gets its bcoz of purchases made by the usual purchasers of albums these days, that is 'white ppl'. the sales figures predicted for this album are what kanye and jayz always usually get, in fact it is less than what jayz got for blueprint 3 and thats bcoz he had big singles on that album that attracted the usual purchasers of whatever is hot (white ppl). with no leak, and two of the biggest artists ever in kanye and jay-z, this album still only can achieve 500,000 at most? that proves me point where the majority of the buyers are the loyal supporters of these artists who have always purchased their albums. if this album had a big single like run this town, you can bet it would have pushed more and it would have been white ppl who would have pushed it.

White people won't buy it? I don't think anyone should buy it. It should have been released as an instrumental tape. Kanye & Jay-Z must have recorded this on different sides of the planet considering their lack of chemistry. It some how surpassed the level of disappointment that H: TS brought upon me and I had higher hopes for this considering my lowered expectations. Kanye should have either released this as a beat tape or done these beats justice solo. Jay-Z has become predictable and formulated. A flow does not a rapper make. Kanye isn't even a talented rapper in my opinion but he knows what to do with his beats...except in this case apparently.

thumbs up bro you are cool you found something off wikipeidia to try and counter my argument that despite no leaks this album is not pushing more than what jayz or kanye's previous albums ever did. i must be mentally challenged, what was i thinking.

-Kanye's didn't break 500k, this probably will.
-This album had very little promotion outside of hiphop blogs, and the people reading them would likely have bought it anyway.
-Jay and Ye have very overlapping fanbases, so it's not like they can double their sales by collabing.
-What do leaks have to do with it? I already have the album, illegally. It doesn't significantly affect the sales (I'm copping the hard copy when it's out).

What's your point anyway? You're incoherent. Are you talking race, sales, what? Either way you're wrong

-this probably will? even though all the predictions suggest it to be between 400 to 500? either way it is less than what jayz did for his most recent album.

-this album had very little promotion outside of hip hop blogs? hehe i guess entertainment weekly is hip hop, i guess people is hip hop, i guess rollingstone is hip hop, i guess all the big pop culture publications that have been reporting on this from day one or were invited to the listening session must be a figment of my mentally retarded imagination.

- overlapping fanbases is somewhat true, and even if we were to say it was absolutely correct either way the combination of these two big artists would still draw some neutrals to their music, it has always worked that way.

- if you think leaks dont make an impact on the overall sales figures and relevance of the album in terms of hype and buzz then i suggest you read that wikipedia page you posted for me.

i already made my point, i didnt bring sales into this you did and i just made the reference from sales to my overall point too. i put my neck on the line with my race generalisation comment and yet you still manged to do the impossible and lose this debate, come on son are you serious? how did you manage that. also im not incoherent, i just dont choose to waste time focusing on spelling and grammar on discussion forums bcoz i tend to save that for ppl that grade me. you keep saving the world though with your coherence.

I don't think he's talking about a collabo album with Yeezy; he's saying that is up to them to release a classic album this year (either Red or Carter IV)
