Listen to this remix of Trampoline for the producer contest. Seriously, so much better than the original.

For God Sake, I hope he doesn't become a Christian rapper. It doesn't fit him.

I like that about him, and I like that about Black Hippy. They aren't afraid to acknowledge they are Christian, but, even though from time to time these 5 rappers may mention it in their songs, they don't transform into the rapping priests. They probably do more good and probably promote their idea and faith more this way, because (tbh) Christian rappers (or any rapper that makes religion their center piece) gets an immediate cold shoulder just because it's the genre they are in. It does no good for the mind sets that they promote. In the end, they are heard more and still portray their faith.

Thoughts?

This guy is honestly very negative about everything, I haven't seen a positive review from him yet. Granted I have only seen two of them.

Exactly! like take Copywrite for example, he's getting un-listenable to, even though God Save the King is not bad at all, but he made religion his center piece, however, having a good motive (which could have deeper religious roots), and expressing them in other ways like Hopsin and Black Hippy, that's how it should be done, no one cares to listen to "Christian" Rap

Exactly! Only so many people have the same religion as you and you only alienate fans by making religion the driving topic of your music, however that doesn't mean you can't say you are Christian and promote Christian beliefs. It's just better done without making people think you are preaching a Sunday sermon in every single track. It will get you farther in your career as well if you don't preach and that will do you and your faith a lot more good than being an underground Christian rapper making the Bible rhyme.

Lecrae is a dope christian artist who had two albums Rehab and Rehab Overdose chart on Billboard he got on the BET cypher and MURKED it. His new mixtape has as many mainstream names as possible (Don Cannon, no malice, 9th wonder...) and its gaining recognition. Even Hopsin agreed to knowing him (although, ddnt say whether he was a fan) Unashamedly christian and still dope. #justsayin
