Does anyone feel like me? i feel like he was really lazy on it, like the hooks were written in 5 minutes, and the beats were poorly put together, and he is at a lyrical low point when it comes to rapping.
Don't get me wrong, i really liked a few songs like Marijuana and Scott Mescudi vs. The World, and a few others. But i was supremely let down.

Well, I think what most people like about this album is it's general sound. I agree, some of the lyrics were put together kinda lazily, but you can be dope without making complex rhymes. Just look at Wayne (not saying he's dope, but a lot of people have the illusion that he is)...but Kid Cudi is 10x better

I do this shit in my sleep, I’m sleepin' now, imagine if I awake

The album wasn't made for lyrics. Cudi rides every beat perfectly and I think the hooks are amazing. Listening to the albums just makes me feel awesome. This is one of my favorite albums ever.

Didn't really like this for some reason...

I'm not a Cudi hater either because I loved his first mixtape and a few songs from his debut.

Eh, I'd give it some more time before I consider it one of my favorite albums. It might just be the freshness effect. It's a damn good album, but that's an early leap.

I particularly like "The Mood".

I think he expanded his... atmospheric vibes more fully. Just committed to true 'mood music'. Tracks like that, really just... encapsulate a mind-state, it's very satisfying.
