50 cent, solely on the fact that I like his voice and delivery more.

I don't get the hype around C2 or 3, I do get the hype behind Power of the Dollar and GRODT both show a raw gangsta that is actually believable as a gangsta (something that later stopped with Candy Shop). People say his good period was just "relying on production" but he certainly doesn't, especially on POD which had very basic production. Wayne however has NEVER been consistently good and has a nasty habit of saying shit so embarrassing and stupid that I can't even listen to him without feeling dirty. Hell, I was on iTunes goin to listen to samples of C2 to see if I should give it a second chance. THE VERY FIRST SAMPLE I CLICK ON SPOUTS OUT THIS SHIT

Dear Mr. Toilet I'm the shit
Got these other haters pissed cause my toilet paper thick
I know but trip and that forty make a chip
Out a potato head wimp and like ranch I dip

Dude, just no. 50's good stuff was good and didnt have shit smoothie slathered in, on, and around it.

C2 Wayne > 50

50 is better than every other Wayne though.

You mean making "punchline rap" (They arent really punchlines) and new age synth pop beats popular? Though 50s influence was just as bad.

I'd rather have modern beats than having rap beats stuck in the 90's-80's.

Wow by looking at the results of this poll you would think it was taken right around the time GRODT came out. That really would be the only time you could 50 was better than Wayne. Everything that has happened since then has seen Wayne be the better rapper. Tha Carter 2 was way better than the Massacre and you cant even argue that. Tha Drought mixtapes were way better than any album 50 put out after that. Not to say Wayne's rapping hasnt declined, but he has stayed on top of the hip hop business this whole time whereas 50 is barely even relevant anymore. I even still here good shit from Wayne that people play a lot. The only place I hear people talk at all about 50's rapping is here and thats once in awhile. People seem to have an irrational hatred of Lil Wayne here and overrate 50.

Only good thing about 50 cent is his production and his somewhat melodic if basic flow, but yeah Wayne for everything else.

I still wonder why people like the shit in C2? Its just as trashy and corny as todays Wayne.

And yet more enjoyable than most of 50's catalogue. Wayne is a better lyricist, though neither are amazing. I don't think 50 necessarily flows better, he has a better voice but that's it.
