& I agree, Lloyd Banks is dope. He's hovering around the Top 10, if not already in.

I think Recovery is better than Relapse, though..

If WBD was released by Lil Wayne everyone here would think it was horrible lol.

I personally think the Relapse album is better than Recovery it shows the more darker side of Eminem although Recovery has got some good tunes like Space Bound, WTP, Cold Wind Blows, Not Afraid I think Eminem is too big to be doing songs with Lil Wayne etc no disrespect to Lil Wayne fans :D

I'm a big fan of Devlin, but to say he's better lyrically than Lowkey is ridiculous.

To be honest with you I've hardly ever listened to LowKey so its obvious why I think Devlin is better, any examples of his work? Best song?

If you haven't heard much from Lowkey, you shouldn't have said Devlin was a better lyricist.

Here's a few good songs.

Yeah he is. Check out Dear Listener and Soundtrack to the Struggle. Brilliant albums. The latter is more politically orientated.

Kendrick Lamar
Joel Ortiz (had to pick only one from Slaughterhouse)
Lupe Fiasco
Nas (although with the ghostwriting rumors...)

Well you should start tbh

I have actually. But i never said Lupe was boring  Lasers is one of my most played albums coz i love the radio singles. Break the chain is my main work out track :smoking:

Mos Def i've heard roughly 15 tracks. Talib Kweli probably about 5 (including the recent collabo with Kendrick). I think he is the one who interests me the least though through his lack of energy. He's dope, no question- the BET cypher and N*ggas in Poorest are dope but i would rather hear him on collaborations.

Pharoe Monch - this guy is like the rappers rapper! He came to South Africa recently as he had a show with Jean Grae (who is ILL) but i only knew about it when they left :( Downloaded W.A.R and i remember it quirked my interest. He's stupid dope.

Jay Electronica- i've already listenned to Untitled :shifty: Will download the upcoming album though

Black Thought- you know, i am REALLY intruiged by the roots. The have major praise even for their conceptual albums. I've probably heard a couple tracks watching videos on youtube and it was legit (started through looking for a sasha grey cameo- sue me lol)

Problem is, there is SOOO much music that the flip side of trying to listen to more and more and more of it is that you never get to enjoy the music thats good. I try to balance the two- exploration and experience.
