This is a very cohesive and solid work from Tyler and as I said earlier, his best album to date. It SOUNDS like an album, the production is very tight and specific. I really enjoy it. 9/10 album for me.

I still havent listened to it, but with the likes of MMLP, Illmatic etc being 10/10, this is a 9/10?

Okay, being realistic it's an 8/10. 9/10 probably is a bit much for this album.

The critical trashing of Wolf has begun.

The past 2 days, I don't even care. This is good.

Anyway, what are your guys' thoughts on the three album storyline he's got going? I'm reading that it could go Bastard>Wolf>Goblin with Sam (Is Dead) in between Wolf and Goblin.

Bastard is Tyler's first therapy session with Dr. TC.
Dr. TC takes Tyler (also known as Wolf) to Camp Flog Gnaw where he meets Sam
Sam is defensive about his girlfriend, Salem
Tyler/Wolf ends up hooking up with Salem
Sam gets angry, kills Earl (person very close to Tyler/Wolf) in Rusty
Tyler/Wolf now wants to kill Sam (Album ends with "If I had seen him (Sam) I woulda killed him")
Sam (Is Dead) marks Sam's death
Goblin is his second therapy session (Album begins with "You wouldn't do that Tyler, kill yourself or anyone else.")
Earl's death in Wolf explains his absence in the story of Goblin
Tyler/Wolf is now mentally unstable and kills all of his friends in Golden

"And I'm Wolf, that was me who shoved the cock in your bitch" from Yonkers, he's talking to the late Sam :o

It's late and I've been reading and I find this all too interesting to be mere coincidence.

Yeah but so far, his music doesn't seem to justify it...

He has that feeling of a rebel that should connect, like an Eminem... and he has that edge, but his skills and content aren't all that interesting, and he isn't saying or doing much...

Em's popularity was justified in the groundbreaking music. Can you honestly say anything Tyler has made has been groundbreaking, or make you go seriously "WOW, THIS IS FUCKING GENIUS"?

I haven't heard anything that's made me do that from him yet. I have a feeling he will eventually create great material, but so far it seems like one giant troll... which is funny, but it's not going to stand the test of time and he's not adding much to the genre by just totally fucking around.

Bastard- "If you had the chance to tell him something, what would you tell him?"
Wolf- "Fuck you, fuck you, fuck you, fuck him. Fuck everything else I can see"
Rusty- Sam kills Earl (thats why he's not on Goblin)
Lone- "if I seen that nigga I woulda killed 'em"
Goblin- "You wouldn't do that Tyler, kill yourself or anyone. You don't even have the balls to begin with"
Window- Tyler goes crazy and kills all of his friends
Sam Is Dead (Music Video)- Tyler shoots and kills Sam, Ace and Wolf (versions of himself)
thats just how i see it. might be completely off but either way its really cool
