But since the album gets praised so much I decided to a simple question, and was it better than any of Em's album. The fact that you flipped over that is an example of how you're butthurt. A simple response like what @Rattle1 said was nice, but you start off your response "This is a prime example as to why you're so fucking stupid." LOL really?

The question is stupid. You shouldn't take someone else's opinion to form your own. Listen to the album and see if you like it or not.

MBDTF didn't really influence me at all... I thought it was pretty average at first, and down the road it grew on me slightly. Still number 4 in Kanye's discography.

never a legend in my opinion until he can entirely change the genre that sounds very extreme but once his style generates alot of influence to the point of similar sounding artists he is just good not a legend ,legends are always somewhat copied and slowly change the whole product

I am a fan but as you said, it's early and I think that he has to be a consistent rapper and release another great album if he wants to be considered as a legend like the other big artists.

Some artists were acclaimed like Kendrick in the past but if kendrick wants to become more than a new great rapper, he needs to have the longevity & consistency that these artists didn't have :y:

50 Cent hasn't really had consistency or longevity though...

He's had longevity in the sense he's still here... but anyone who's big enough who just keeps making music will 'still be here'... he's only delivered one great album...

Post-getrich has been abysmal, and he flopped major hard with 'Self Destruct'... and that was only 6 years after his debut. He's only a legend due to his story and association, and image, but he hasn't made legendary music that is amongst great rap like Em has, like Pac did.

Anyway, on-topic... yes I think Kendrick probably will go down a legend. I haven't even heard GKMC yet lmao, but from what I have heard, and from his interviews and integrity, and image and style and his intent and passion... AND skills... yes, to me it seems like he's going to be a very interesting artist like a Kanye; that will grow, evolve, change, push boundaries and cement himself for the long-hall.
