imo, Nas is as good, if not better then Em.
As for kendrick, I'd say that he has a better imagery than Eminem, at least on his albums. (I only judge an artist by his albums) He literally paints pictures lyrically and the only artists I thought were better in that domain were Lupe Fiasco, Rakim and Tupac.
However, Eminem has more wordplays and better rhyme schemes.
I agree about Kendrick but really, every time Em has done storytelling it's just as vivid if not more. Can't say you don't envision the scenes of "Kim" "Brain Damage", "Murder Murder" or "Same Song & Dance".
it's true, and I consider Eminem as a goat
I just changed a lot and I now enjoy poetic rappers more than punchline and "technical" rappers.
if you look at Krs One, Tupac, Rakim, and most recently Kendrick , Ab-Soul, they are more poetic/spoken word with their shit and rappers like Biggie, Lupe and Eminem are more technical, they have more multis and punchline in their shit.
I just feel like a rapper like Rakim can put you into the song with his descriptions while a rapper like Eminem can entertain you more because of his wordplays and technical abilities.
