True, but Jay's verses were 'meh', just like the beat is. I expected a way heavier beat after seeing the commercials, but I feel this was badly mixed.

Jay's verses weren't meh, I actually thought they were good. The way they talked about fame while making the listener think it was a girl was well executed and Jay-Z actually had some interesting thoughts that were a lot more introspective than most of the stuff on the album. And I love the beat, the drop is amazing.
