Really? I actually liked his voice, I didn't mind his accent at all.

I actually think Damian Marley murders the whole album. Nas did do a great job but without Damian, damn!

I understated my opinion, there I think. I actually really enjoyed Damian, much more than I thought I would. I really love his part on Africa Must Wake Up. :worship:

For the people complaining about Damian Marley, I really think you guys don't understand the concept of the album at all then.

As I commented said on one of the songs, together they capture the essence of what music was and is always supposed to represent... that conscientious mysticism that leaves listeners in the most amazed stage of contemplation.

I promise you young listeners of Hip Hop, in 10 or 20 years time you will listen to this album again and be amazed at how good it was.

This album, will last for a lifetime. I have no doubts it will have a cult following now, and get bigger as each decade passes.

I'm literally astounded at how good it is. It is one of the greatest music pieces of all time, not because it's rap, not because it's reggae, but because Nas and Damian Marley know what they're doing, they know exactly how important and creative they are here.

This album will scare people in 20 years time. Every word they say will be even more relevant then.

They don't waste a line on this album.

Wow. Wow. Wow.

^ Motherfucking right stillmatic :y:

Ayo, the brother is "Stillmatic"
I crawled up out of that grave, wiping the dirt, cleaning my shirt
They thought I'll make another "Illmatic"
But it's always forward I'm moving
Never backwards stupid here's another classic

Without Damian Marley this album would have not been what it is right now. Both Nas and Damian form a formidable duo.

This definitely doesn't sound like my thing.
I'm not a fan of either artist at this point, so fuck this.

Finally, got this through my letterbox yesterday afternoon. I sat in my room with my headphones and hoped and prayed it was as good as you all made out.

I wasn't dissapointed. Everything about this album is just incredible. I was in shock at how great Nas was on this - I havent heard him spit so well since Stillmatic (in fact, most of this his verses on DR are porbably better than Stillmatic). I love his verses on Leaders.

The production is out of this world. Every song is so vivid. I adore the production on Tribes At War.

Damian was fantastic also. Brings so much to this partnership - although I would have liked to hear him rapping more - I thought he was good on As We Enter. Then again, leaving most of it Nas wasn't really a bad idea.

Guests are pretty good. Wayne's verse was aight - didn't think it was as good as some are saying, but for him, very good. Not really a fan of K'Naan from what I've heard (not a lot to be fair) but he brought something great to the table too.

Favourite tracks:
As We Enter
Leaders
Patience

So far, this is probably my favourite album of the last 4 or so years.

Instant classic for me.

Went to the store and bought it today. Sounds even better today then the first time I heard it. The sound picture is way to large to be fully satisfactory when it's compromised.

I got my copy 2 days ago, damn it's so good. I love Count Your Blessings right now. One thing though, my album cover has the picture of Africa in the middle of Nas & Damian Marley, in big. On the interent it's without it. :confusion: Stupid question really but, do you all have it too? Or am I trying to feel special. :sweating:
