Pretty awful.

Man, everybody's compromising these days. Apart from Kanye. Kanye seems to be the only one right now who can make all the way 100% what he wants and make it work commercially. People may misconstrue him working with pop stars or going for big sounds as a contradiction to what I'm saying, but it's not - because that IS Kanye. Kanye is broadly appreciative of many genres and has always done that, and he still makes it authentic, and it's not a compromise, it's what he's going for. Which is why it doesn't sound forced or generic; it sounds real, no matter how he's presenting it. And has bigger aspirations to most rappers. But everybody else right now... can't seem to stay honest with it.

Yeah, just a prediction and they get it right 99% of the time.

It's no surprise, Joey is pretty popular but he's not on a major label nor does his label promote him.
He did it by himself, he toured, he went on interviews....etc

I look at Joey the same way I look at Pusha, they're both awesome and popular but they won't ever sell.

Pusha is good music. He will sell at least 80k albums. It's sad when great rappers only do these kind of numbers.

I actually prefer Joey on features or in a group climate.
Although, I haven't listened yet, a lot of the features on this project are questionable.
French Montana? Lil Wayne? Wiz Khalifia? They're all fucking trash.
I hope the Slaughterhouse features are good though, the group has good chemistry as a whole but Joey hasn't impressed me with a lot of his solo material.
Still, he's a beast with a lot of potential, I'm going to check this out tomorrow.

I kinda feel the same about Royce Da 5"9, when it comes to his own songs, tbh.
