sigh.... it's a shame it ended up being bad. and Lupe isn't a stranger to the beats that aren't the "norm" but some of these beats are trash. besides the singles (i enjoyed every single), i think there's only like 2 songs i care to listen to. about the only thing this album has over Lasers is that he's rhyming 10x better here.

Yeah this isn't very good. Most of it isn't even listenable. I'm not completely ruling Lupe out because he gave us 2 of the best rap albums of all time and some classic mixtapes, but I'm starting to doubt we'll ever get a truly great project from him again.

Who knows though. Maybe he'll have some kind of crazy revelation because of the fan/critic backlash and release the greatest album ever.

It is worth downloading.
It's not your typical Lupe album, his album is filled with songs like Lamborghini Angels and basically no Kick Push kinda songs.

You don't mind rappers like Lowkey so I think you'll very much enjoy this one

I'm surprised at the hate. Lupe, like Em sounds different on every album. Thats a good thing. If Lupe is in fact retiring, he's going out on top. Not too many songs stand out cuz they're all good. No skippable tracks for me. Album of the year.

I think maybe because people are trying to see it as a sequel to one of the greatest albums of all time (why the fuck did he name it that). If you look at it as its own individual album it is amazing. I could not be more happy really. It gets better with every listen. So many great songs.

If he took a few meh songs off (heart donor, bitch bad and how dare you) and put in Go to Sleep and Double Burger and Cheese it would be legendary!

As a side note I can't stop listening to Unforgivable Youth. Its more addictive than Coke.

yea "Go To Sleep" would've been a good bonus track, but it's more related to The Cool concept he talked about on the first two albums than the concept of this new album.

I have listened to this a second time, in my opinion, its not even in a top 10 hip hop albums of 2012 disappointed

not feeling it at all, I reckon there were some interesting lyrics but as a whole, I didn't enjoy listening to the songs.
In my opinion, it's like listening to Noé when you can listen to jay-Z... it's like listening to Nasty when you can listen to Eminem ! I mean, when I listen to this album I automatically say to myself " I bet someone can make that album 100 times better coz right now, it's not a problem to listen to it but it's average to me"
there are a lot of things missing here, I don't see that artist as one of the best, and I don't see that album as being one of the best albums this year, not even close.

Not saying "THIS IS SHIT", just saying "I" don't like it at all =p
