Tbh, you sound jealous in your posts dude.

He makes a thread for himself in the Hip-Hop domain and not the audio section where it should go like he's more important than everyone else and then goes on and on about how great he is and all his hardships and accepts everyone to blow him in awe then he messages me and tells me to check out his music and if I don't it will be "a decision I'll regret for the rest of my life." Yes, I'm sure it will antagonize me forever. Why didn't I just check out Jon Ramana's music??? He's a prick and he's full of himself for no reason.
haha c'mon dog, you got something eating at you? i don't really know the "rules" of this site, but i posted in hiphop because it's a professional* quality hiphop release, featuring 3 established rappers. every song ive posted, i said if you fuck with it i'd love you to share it, if not, don't.

the message i sent you was:
"you insulted my shitty freestyle a few weeks back. check out my actual track, you won't regret it. or you might regret it the rest of your life. who knows?"

seem pretty full of myself, acknowledging something i did was wack. and notice i said you might regret LISTENING to my track the rest of your life. reading comprehension lil man, it makes a difference.

*professional meaning i have all the legal procedures being done (ASCAP, coprights, etc), and it features established artists. it might be terrible in your opinion, i dont factor that into the definition.

No you dumbfuck. You said I would regret CHECKING OUT your track, which is exactly what I said :facepalm

And exactly, you think because your stuff is "professional" that you're above everyone else.

c'mon lil man, read what you wrote. no matter tho, no skin off my back, if you hate me for some reason that's fine.

and i've said literally nothing disparaging about anyone else on this site. maybe everyone on here sucks, maybe fucking nas and raekwon are posting here, idk, i didn't check. i posted hiphop music featuring established hiphop artists in the hiphop section. made sense to me. believe it or not, i didn't put a bunch of thought into making a post on the internet. judging from your 11,000 posts, you seem to spend a good amount of time here, if you have any advice feel free to shoot me a message.

and zabe, it depends. i don't have any samples on the tape requiring clearance (a few small soundbites, but they aren't very recognizable so any legal repercussions are practically non existant). it can be easy to get a sample cleared, it can be impossible, i've done it before. if you sample some obscure 1970s band no one cares about anymore, they'll probably welcome any royalty checks they can get. if you wanna sample someone like The Beatles, doubt it will ever be approved. but the actual process isn't difficult, if that's what you are asking.

Do the artists being sampled reject on the grounds of integrity then?

Are you that dumb?

And no, you have no posted professional music with established artists. You've posted two threads bragging about the fact that you have song with those artists.

Sometimes...

Like George Harrison, for example, was known for not clearing samples for rappers. The original version of Hailie's Song had a sample from a Beatles song, and he was supposedly going to clear it, but then he died and his widow wasn't down for it.

I like this. A lot. :y: I don't care whether his story's 100 or not, the truth'll come out eventually. And honestly, I don't feel like he's lying, he doesn't seem like he's coming off as the whole "OH IF YOU DON'T BELIEVE ME THEN FUCK YOU", more like "It's whatever man, up to you" and that's why I'm more inclined to believe him. Could be right, could be wrong, but it's not gonna really do anything to me personally.

and bigray, i didn't see your post (last one on a page), i'll do it if i get time. imma make it CDQ if i do tho, first freestyle i uploaded was bad quality and made me look bad to be honest, so if i can do it well i will

and lets stop arguing about BS semantics lol, here's a track i scrapped for the project (wasn't feeling teh dubstep-ish shit on it at all, too gimmicky, i like the rest tho, but it doesn't fit the project theme)
