Yeah, but compared to WTT or Channel Orange? He can't compete.

like we said, he's a pretty new artist lol...
but don't say never, coz in some countries, the man has more buzz than any other hip hop artists, even pop artists :sweating:
in my town, there are posters of his albums, and only of that albums :flutter: (and for lady gaga's concert :X)

Nostalgia Ultra was a cult classic for many people, and with Frank coming out a week before the digital release, the hype went into overload. I don't see Kendrick saying he had sex with a man anytime soon, do you?

you were talking like it was impossible to compete with frank for channel orange but he can do better.

"In the United States, Channel Orange debuted at number two on the Billboard 200 and sold 131,000 copies in its first week. The majority of its first-week sales were digital copies from iTunes, while approximately 3,000 of the sales were physical copies. However, digital copies sold for $2.99 at Amazon.com were excluded from Nielsen SoundScan's sales data (excluding discounted copies sold by Amazon.com, which Billboard estimated to be approximately 15,000 ), as Billboard's chart policy disqualifies albums sold for less than $3.49 from charting"

Well, no. I understand coming out of the closet gave him a huge popularity increase, so I guess you're right. I got Nostalgia Ultra (classic indeed) when it came out, but I didn't really follow Frank until channel ORANGE.

Look at him now though. He grew in popularity, and still is.

I'm afraid that Kendrick's going to hit a limit.

how can you know that ? ^^
The man is doing a fucking great job atm, having more and more buzz since his first mixtapes and he didn't reach a limit (still, he's an hip hop artist but he has pop features and the community isn't even afraid to listen to him with lady gaga or other artists so ...)
other great rappers called him the king, he's respected by them and by his fans... he has more and more fans every week, as we usually say : "wait and see" :D

I dunno, Kendrick is hyped the fuck up in my town. I think he'll have a huge popularity increase, maybe not as fast, but there'll be one.

Why did Lady GaGa's count when she put her album for 99 cents?

they changed their rules because of her and even if she counted, she has sold more physical copies in its first week than 90 % of the other artists :sweating:
Just look at her previous albums, or her sales in other countries, she didn't have to sell cheap copies to be #1

"Compton is the worst song so far after Collect Calls tbh." name still needs to add " in my opinion" TBH coz the song is a success for a lot of ppl, even if I'm not fan of it :facepalm

Can't play them for some reason. Any chance of another link?
