and Lance5, you need to differenciate flow and voice bro it's not the same at all.

I know what is a flow and what is a voice man  just told you I didn't like both, and both of them are hated by a lot of ppl
Every artists are hated by a lot of ppl but when it's about the same caracterics (flow or voice), it doesn't rly help =p

I saw a lot of people hate on their image, their content and their voice but I honestly didn't see a lot of people hate on their flows lol. Especially Yela and MGK, and believe me, I read a lot of hate comments against them.

The dude can spit damn, shame on me for having underestimated him when I first heard him. I thought he was just aight and shit but he's actually damn good. I'm definitely gonna buy "Lace Up", I mean it's an honest first album and it really deserves some support. :y:

Props Shadizz my bro, supporting good artists is always great. A lot of people didn't think he'd pull this off but he did it.

Great to see I'm not the only one to think he took the Tech track.

Solace knows what's good haha.

I don't know why some of you are so surprised. Half of these songs have been out forever, and the album is more or less like the Lace Up mixtape. Personally, it was aight. I expected more. He is what he is right now, a guy who can flow with the best of them but sticks to inspiring underdog music and the loyalty theme. Which is cool, but I don't know, I wasn't feeling it too much probably because I've already heard it. Wild Boy is still great though.

I'm not saying the album sucks, it's good, just expected more.

It's because people never heard the Lace Up mixtape, or the Half Naked and Almost Famous songs. And some of them didn't know MGK did that "inspiring underdog music" and probably just disliked him because of Wild Boy or his "wîgger" image.

So yeah.. I loved this because it was exactly what I expected. A really solid and good debut album, and he didn't compromise anything. It's the same kind of music he was doing on his mixtapes, and I like that he sticks to his roots.

I added a poll but only included the new songs. So, which one was your favorite?

I'll go with All We Have.

Top 5:

All We Have
Save Me
Edge of Destruction
D3mons
End Of The Road
