It doesn't matter if naive doesn't connect with water because Evian does that. Naive connects with rappers thinking they flow like water (in other words, smooth OR good).

Class, I'm not trying to argue with you, but do you really not understand the Evian/naive punchline? It's pretty straight forward. It may not be the best punchline ever, but it's cleverer than most.

And Banks has always killed punchlies. They call him the PLK for a reason. When he first came out, he was a beast. Check this out for proof, just ignore 50.


Also, Joe Budden tends to have the best punchlines related to current events.

I like 50 cent's verse better in that song, and I don't like 50 cent at all. Banks' is just too monotnous and all his punchlines were just meh, some clever wordplay but he delivers them in a monotonous voice that just puts me to sleep.

That's why it's a good punchline and not some jaw dropping one. Naive has nothing to do with Evian. Royce has to create the connection himself by saying you think you flow like water. Now you're starting to catch on :coffee:
