This is an oxymoron when talking about hiphop. Rhyming is everything. Without it you're no longer rapping, you're just talking with rhythm. Many of us prefer listening to artists who put the rhyme as their top priority. I'm not taking a stance on the argument about the song, but you're using subjective preference to objectively criticize.

I find it interesting that both Jay-Z and Eminem have 3 classic albums, and the rest are either average or sub par.
I think that they influence each other a lot, both haven't been as good in recent years, I'm not saying that's deliberate lol, but it seems they're more so chasing the money nowadays.

I can't agree, mainly because em is better but just being versatile, em runs the game in versatility and jay sounds similar on most his albums. He's one of the best but not the best. But regardless of opinion or numbers (ironic when jay said in whatever song that numbers don't lie, yet em outsold him but what triple?) there can never be the greatest. Its all opinion.
