So I'm done with the normal edition, I'll say that it's a great album but not the game changer I was expecting. Money Trees and Backseat Freestyle are two average tracks and could've been replaced by The Recipe and another track tbh.

But yeah.. It's a great album. fucking great.

Kendrick has released 2 albums that are in my top 15, maybe 10, favorite albums ever. This man is something else. And his career is just starting.

Goddamn Black Boy Fly.. what a brilliant song. Second best song on the album after AOPP.

Overall, really dope album. I love the fact that Kendrick is unique at what he does, and he does it great. As Trimms said, it's not the "game-changer" everybody was/is expecting, but it's an amazing album nonetheless. I can definitely see myself bumping it regularly in the years to come.

Exactly. Glad I'm not the only one thinking that. Good Kid is my favorite track honestly. It's classic.

Never heard of this Tabu producer, but he's a genius for producing AOPP. Hat down.

lets be honnest, it's hard to change the game right now.

I think nobody did it except Dr Dre with 2001 (he gave a whole new vision of hip hop and then other classic albums followed)

dr3, you didn't hear that leak of aopp (wasn't complete) ? :sweating:

ok, it's a short film, and I think backseat has its place in the album but if it was a normal album, I would have put it in the bonus, and bonus > standard edition

Compton sounds so good in that full album now
