Just came across this, it actually goes a few past 1993 too, post from people on the nights that 2pac and B.I.G were killed

Crazy seeing posts asking about the release date of 36 Chambers and stuff like that

Enjoy people, I think Hiphopdane, D.A, and a few others will love this :y:
Same sword they knight you they gon' good night you with
Sh.., Thats' only half if they like you
That ain't even the half what they might do
Don't believe me, ask Michael
See Martin, see Malcolm
You see Biggie, see Pac, see success and its outcome
See Jesus, see Judas; see Caesar, see Brutus
See success is like suicide
Suicide, it's a suicide
If you succeed, prepare to be crucified

Wow it's crazy. There's people discussing about Jazzmatazz by Guru only a few months after it came out in 93. I didn't discover the album until another 8 years after.

It's cool to browse through some old topics, nice find.

I noticed that a lot of people were writing Eminem off after the Slim Shady LP. People saying he's a gimmick rapper and won't be relevant a year after his album drops.

Once MTV finds its new flavor of the month, teenage girls cease to think he's
"hot", and people wise up to the fact that he is one of the worst things to happen to rap
since... Well, since Vanilla Ice, Slim Shady (or whatever the hell else he's calling
himself now) and his fifteen minutes of fame will to a close. So jump on the bandwagon all
you want, but all of his albums three times over and enjoy the ride till it stops. Because
it will culminate in his doing shows in a dive in Vegas headlining with Kriss Kross,
reminiscing about his great times with Dr. Dre and Snoop Dogg on VH-1's "Where Are they
Now" when he's 40. Or not. But it couldn't happen to a better person, IMHO.

If you told those people they wrote that about Em 11 years ago, they would probably deny it.

Wow!! This forum is freaking amazin man. Like, thats when you see the credibility Canibus had and makes it even more awesome Eminem destroyed his carrer. Same for Limb Bizkit as well.

Plus, its great to see how people go from being Hated to loved. Like, in 1999 it seemed DMX was public enemy #1 for "selling out" who would imagine that?

Busta Rhymes has been a beast from the start man. Always commanded respect.

Best part was props given to Havoc's producing. After Welcome to Hell i have been fascinated by his sound ever since. They guy is truly REVOLUTIONARY.

Nice find :y:
