He said multiple times that Pac is one of his greatest influences and his music is inspirational to him.

His flow on some of the songs do spark the comparison ,since he mentioned him as his influences so he might have adapted some of his tricks .

The way he pronounces some words on Dollar and A Dream III made me go :confusion:
Then I remembered...PAC.
"Hey, I gotta dollar and a dream, that's all a nigga got
So if it's bout that creaaaaam, then I'm all up in the spot
I got a dollar and a dream, just a dollar and a dream"
and
"Mozart meets Humphrey Bogart with this from the heart shit
Play your part, life is but a dream for me
I get a flash of nightmares when niggas scheeeeeme on me"
That's Pac's influence. Other than that the lyrical content of this song sounds too much like The Dynasty Intro by Jay-Z.

I kinda see it in the subject matter. Cole's much better lyrically though.

I've been saying this for years, Cole is a 'Pac+Nas.

"Life is but a dream for me
I get a flash of nightmares when nikkas scheme on me."

Like mentioned above, that's the 'Pac influence.

And the Nas influence can be heard in his lyricism.
"This dude doing this interview wants me to spin a few,
Lyrics while I tie my tennis shoes in the nude
A romantic interlude in a livin’ room,
In an inner tube with a dude with a bit of lube
Fuck that I’m sniffin’ glue, sippin' gin & juice,
And a little bit of paint thinner with my dinner too,
You better pay me for my bars like your rent is due,
Now hurry up and finish dude before I finish you."

The line you quoted is my main comparison to Pac. When I heard that line, just the way he delivered it, I instantly thought of Pac.

Yep, the way he pronounces some words, and the story telling aspects. He also reminds me a little of Kanye and Drake.

GameTheory wrote:He seems also influenced by Kanye West, I thought he was featured in the track when I heard this verse from Can't Get Enough:

Hey, Globetrotter, Cole hotter
Even way out in London town
Hoes holla ’cause they love my sound
And I got love for the underground
Kweli, Pimp C
H-town where Bun get down
Met a bad bitch that’ll cut all night, that’ll suck all night, you just cut off lights
Almost missed my flight, tryna get my last little nut, all right?
She be down for whatever, whenever I wanna get up in the guts, all right?
Never fuss or fight, on the grind tryna find this lettuce
I love it when you give me head
I hate it when you give me headaches

:y: He DEFINITELY has a LOT of Kanye influence.

He reminds me of Drake also. For some reason I just can't get into his music.
