how eminem is better than lil wayne

my friend got into an argument today and he was saying lil wayne is better than Eminem. can u help me find arguments to why he is wrong. He keeps on saying that lil wayne does not use auto tone except for lollipop, he says eminem uses autotone in drop the world. he tells me that lil wayne has more record sales than him, that his music videos are more poular than eminems, and that lil wayne's how to love has more radio play than any eminem's songs. that he is better lyrically. and lastly that he is number one right now on record sales. he also tells me that eminem's lyrics are worthless and nobody cares about listening about his life.i appreciate your input.

my friend also says eminem's songs have no meaning as rap songs arent supposed to have meaning? how can i prove to him that eminem's songs have meaning and that rap songs can have meaning.

my frind also tells me that wayne's lyrics r better, how can i prove to him that eminem is better lyrically. i would really appreciate that.

If you seriously can't prove to him that Eminem is better than Wayne lyrically or that rap songs have meanings, then neither of you have any business discussing Hip Hop altogether. Simple as that.

This is literally the most absurd suggestion I've ever heard of...Your friend sounds like a right douchebag, and no disrespect but there has to be some questioning on your part if you have to ask us for examples of why Eminem is better than Wayne lol...

Get the lyrics argument out of the way first, that's an easy win.
-Show him examples of Em's inverse rhyming, internal rhyming, a few of his impressive ass multis, advanced vocab and his rhyme structure. Basically, show him Em's 1st Renegade verse and break it down
-Show him Em's wit and humor. While Wayne relys on puns for comedic affect (which he doesn't really have tbh). Songs like Who Knew, Role Model, and Criminal show Eminem's ridiculous clever way of thinking, you don't even get all the jabs and undertones of his work in the first few listens. He makes music legitimately funny, that's impressive. Ask him if Wayne has ever made him laugh out loud.
-Show him the ground-breaking (epic if you will) songs of Eminem (Rock Bottom, Stan, The Way I Am, Lose Yourself, Sing for the Moment). Ask him to show you songs by Wayne that contain lyrics as inspiring and revolutionary. I doubt he can name one. The songs I listed are anthems.
-Ask him who has a smoother flow, show him Lose Yourself. Ask him who writes better hooks, show him Business, Deja Vu, Cleanin' Out My Closet, Who Knew, White America. Ask him who has better variety of topics, tell him to listen to the Eminem Show. Ask him who has better features, show him Renegade, Don't Approach Me, My Name, Patiently Waiting, etc. He'll probably show you show bullshit T-Pain song.
- Eminem has MAJOR props from Jay-Z, Nas, Xzibit, Rakim, R.A. the Rugged Man, Scarface, Raekwon, Andre 3000, Slug from Atmosphere and the list goes on and on and on and on and on and on. Who does Lil Wayne have?
- If Wayne is better than Em, why did Em SLAUGHTER Wayne on all three of the songs they're on together? Forever, Drop the World and No Love.
-Who's more critically aclaimed? Wayne is considered a joke in the music industry. Em has gotten very positive feedback for his lyrical skill from rock stars, singers, authors, actors, even a few notable poets.
- If he wants to talk sales and popularity, Em is the highest selling ARTIST of the past decade, He also has one of the most viewed videos on youtube.
-If he brings up Encore, bring up The Carter III, Rebirth, Carter IV, I Am Not a Human Being, all of his songs with birdman, nicki minaj, drake and the rest of the Young Funny Crew.
-Cherry on top: Wayne said Eminem is a thousand times better than him.

Haha, I can't even accept that as a valid list, simply because it has Lil' Wayne, Drake and Nicki Minaj in it!!!...

But even if it was a long list of notable lyricists Em would still have to be number one, closely followed by Possessed...UK Hip-Hop is SOOOOO overlooked
