06. Kanye West- My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy
07. Kanye West- The College Dropout
08. Outkast- Stankonia
09. 50 Cent- Get Rich
10. The Fix- Scarface

Notable Mentions/Albums on the cusp of being on the list:

01. Power In Numbers- Jurassic Five
02. The Game- The Documentary
03. Common- Like Water For Chocolate
04. The Game- The Documentary
05. Lupe Fiasco- Lupe Fiasco Presents........Food & Liquor

So basically I did a Top 20. What do you think of my list? And feel free to make a list of your own- a Top 5/Top 10 one, and notable mentions as well if you want.

-Sidebar: It was so hard narrowing down which were the best, lyrically, sonically, the meanings in each songs, etc. but I feel this is pretty good.

Oh yeah, how the fuck could I forget The Black Album by Jay? Excellent crafted album. Could of been a 5 mic rating by the Source imo. My fav. Jay album too.

I like both of those lists :y:

If it's 2000-2011 then MBDTF would be on here, if it's 2000-2009 then I'll go with, in random order;

Eminem - MMLP
Ghostface Killah - Supreme Clientelle
Cannibal Ox - The Cold Vein
Madvillain - Madvillainy
Outkast - Stankonia
Clipse - Hell Hath No Fury
Jay-Z - The Black Album
Kanye West - Graduation (Though I think College Dropout is better, I prefer Grad)
Cunninlynguists - A Piece of Strange
Jay-Z - The Bluenprint

The top 6 on there are set in stone, the rest could be rotated with 20 or so other releases, but those are what I'm feeling at the moment
Same sword they knight you they gon' good night you with
Sh.., Thats' only half if they like you
That ain't even the half what they might do
Don't believe me, ask Michael
See Martin, see Malcolm
You see Biggie, see Pac, see success and its outcome
See Jesus, see Judas; see Caesar, see Brutus
See success is like suicide
Suicide, it's a suicide
If you succeed, prepare to be crucified

I counted all the way to 2010, but 2011 albums are fine as well. I guess I count 2010 as being 10 years from 2000 onward.

Btw, I forgot to mention, but note, Canibus has had some great albums in this time period, but he doesn't make it cause his voice is awful, he has the same types of songs on every album imo, he doesn't branch out to even 1-2 club songs, which wouldn't even label him a club artist, it would just be changing his style really. lol @ the Cunninlynguists; I like them too.

I was thinking of Big Boi & Dre Presents...........Outkast too.

I didn't say mainstream though. A great album is a great album, lyrically, or sonically speaking, whatever the case may be, doesn't have to be mainstream, but I agree with your list regardless.

Fair enough... it'd probably remain the same anyway lmao. So, pointless of me to highlight it.

First 9 I totally agreed with, then I said WTF. No disrespect to your opinion, but seriously bro? The Massacre album is possibly one of the worst albums, and follow-up albums, after such a success with GRODT, ever in hip hop. i'm just sayin, Gatman and Robin was nothing special, it was an album with an overhaul of club songs, & fake gangster rap songs. Plus Yayo was horrible on My Toy Soldier. I'll take ya to the candy shop! :tounge2:
