What are classic albums to you that aren't to others?

Mine are:

Kanye West - Late Registration. How Graduation is deemed better I'll never know.

A lot of the links/pics I've posted in the last year or so, if they're dead, there is a probability that I have archived it on Archive.today.

If you need to reach me for any reason, message me on Hip Hop Shelter.

I really love KiD CuDi's "Man on the Moon", I'm not sure I'd call it a clasic though.

Well in your post you put Devils Night and Stillmatic - I think a lot consider those classics.

Anyway for me... I'd have to say At the Speed of Life and Graduation. Both are considered great by most, but I don't think they're considered classics.

At the Speed of Life is a fantastic debut though, and pure classic 90s hip-hop, Xzibit is insanely under-appreciated, as is that album...

Then Graduation, I think it's better than both of Kanye's first two. He really stretched his imagination and personality more, grew into himself as an artist. And it's top to bottom superb.

And, Relapse would be a classic to me without "Crack a Bottle" and "Beautiful". When I listen right through they don't actually sound that bad now but, argh, I dunno. They stick out like a sore thumb in my mind. It's because the other styles are so similar and new...

I reckon R2 would have been an instant classic to me.

Nah, haha. People are saying Relapse is a classic, & those questions come to mind when people say that.
