Macklemore Appreciation

Postby cookiemonster » Mar 2nd, '12, 01:13

Macklemore just made XXL Freshman 2012 and am really pleased for him
I am hoping that making this list gets him a tonne of exposure and really blows up.
He would have to be one of the best storrytellers in the game atm... I feel myself get lost in his stories. Plus love his delivery and beats :y:

What do you guys think of him?
Check out Otherside remix with Fences if you haven't heard of him

Reminded me of Slug from Atmosphere when i first heard Macklemore. A great storyteller with great production in his music, glad to see him on XXL.

I've only heard a couple songs from him, but I appreciate his sincerity in his storytelling. I haven't made a full on judgement of him yet, but I like that he seems like a real person. White rappers almost always have something else going on; he's just a guy telling stories.

Slug from Atmosphere >>>>>>>>>> Macklemore :coffee:

Macklemore has production and delivery, I'll give him that. Otherside is a pretty sweet track but I find he lacks consistency throughout his discography.

The dude needs to get off waynes dick tbh
