Tough tough decision. Id have to say lyrically Id go with Slaughterhouse, however presentation wise Black Hippy really has something. The diversity in slaughterhouse is also amazing so... I'll have to go with Slaughterhouse.

I seriously can't believe Slaughterhouse won. I could write a book about Black Hippy and what makes them better, but for Slaughterhouse all I could and can say is that four old rappers made a rap group and got signed.

In terms of lyrically ability:
Black Hippy > Slaughterhouse (Kendrick Lamar (This generation's GOAT) > Ab-Soul > SchoolBoy Q > Crooked I > Joe Budden > Royce da 5'9" > Joell Ortiz > Jay Rock).

In terms of being artistic:
Black Hippy > Slaughterhouse (Kendrick Lamar > Ab-Soul > SchoolBoy Q >Joe Budden > Jay Rock > Joell Ortiz > Royce da 5'9" > Crooked I)
*Slaughterhouse isn't very artistic.

In terms of being able to write a song:
Black Hippy > Slaughterhouse (Kendrick Lamar > Ab-Soul > SchoolBoy Q = Joe Budden > Royce da 5'9" > Joell Ortiz > Jay Rock > Crooked I)

In terms of Group Chemistry:
Black Hippy > Slaughterhouse

In terms of really everything:
Black Hippy > Slaughterhouse

It's not even close. Also, the people in Black Hippy will actually have successful solo success along with amazing group success. Kendrick Lamar is fucking amazing in all aspects, Ab-Soul is incredibly intelligent for a rapper and has a lot of substance, and SchoolBoy Q is a mix of Nas, Jay-Z, and 50 Cent (Jay Rock is kind of just a carbon copy of The Game, he's better than most rappers but for being in Black Hippy he's a piece of shit). I literally think that Black Hippy is the best hip-hop group to ever emerge, fuck Wu-Tang (they're lyrical but boring, lets be serious. Oh, and fuck D12). That's not including duos, but each member has a good one on one chemistry when they do joint songs without two of the groups members so it's actually debatable, however I believe Outkast is the best duo to date. In addition, Section.80 (Kendrick Lamar), Control System (Ab-Soul), and Habits & Contradictions (SchoolBoy Q) are lyrically and artistically (this also includes production) better than nearly every hip-hop album released in the last 12 years (of course there are a few excepts to this statement, hence nearly). I mean name two, just two, albums like these that are as entertaining and lyrical with amazing production, there are not many. Honestly the TDE roster is probably the best in the game currently, even their boss (Punch) is a better rapper than most, hell he's better than 3/4 of Slaughterhouse. Not to mention the in-house producers being on-par with or above Dr. Dre, Premo, and Kanyes' level of talent (I know I'll get hate but lets be real). Sounwave is an amazing producer and is the best on TDE. EVERY artist (rappers & producers, even the boss) in TDE has amazing versatility and skill (except Jay Rock). The singers are even amazing as fuck as well, I mean Ashtrobot, BJ the Chicago Kid, Jhene Aiko, Alori Joh, and Ja Vonte' are better than ALL pop singers, a shit load of alternative singers (not all), and definitely the whole rap game. That being said, R.I.P to Alori Joh. Now, you all talk about the saviors of rap, well these are your people. FUCKING SUPPORT THEM. BUY THIER SOLO ALBUMS AND LISTEN TO THEM, IF YOU HAVEN'T YOU ARE SERIOUSLY MISSING OUT. NO WILL CHANGE THE GAME AS MUCH AS THESE GUYS WILL, THEY ALL HAVE AN ENORMOUS CHANCE OF BEING SUCCESSFUL, AS STATED BEFORE, WITHOUT SELLING OUT AND SACRIFICING THIER SOUND. NO OTHER SOLO ACT, DUO, OR GROUP IS GOING TO BE THE SAVIORS OF THIS GENRE, ESPECIALLY NOT SLAUGHTERHOUSE. Oh and....

The ability to have success and not sell out:
Black Hippy > Slaughterhouse

Personalities:
Black Hippy > Slaughterhouse (TDE has so much more presence on the mic it's not even funny, they even have more personality in real life. They are all so fucking chill in down to earth. Where as Slaughterhouse is just of funny old dudes [two of which can be ass holes at times] and one shy guy.)

Definitely Black Hippy. Section.80, Habits & Contradictios and Control System are great albums and they're becoming 3 of my favourites (Section.80 has been for a while). Whereas SH just bores me.

Revolutionary wrote:I voted Slaughterhouse because I still need more time to get into their type of music.

Kendrick and Ab-Soul are amazing, I have begun listening to Schoolboy Q recently, he's good.
Jay Rock is average, I don't really like him.

I can get behind this statement somewhat. Kendrick Lamar, Ab-Soul, SchoolBoy Q, & Punch (He's the head of TDE and their boss if you didn't read my last comment) are AMAZING. Jay Rock is above average but he's not as interesting, entertaining, lyrical, or artistic as these four (Punch will probably never put out an album because he doesn't want a rap career, but from the verses he's spit on TDE projects he's amazing.)

In terms of everything overall (this takes in EVERY MUTHAFUCKIN' ASPECT):

Kendrick Lamar > Ab-Soul > SchoolBoy Q > Joe Budden > Punch > Joell Ortiz > Crooked I > Jay Rock > Royce da 5'9"

Black Hippy > * (Including Slaughterhouse)
TDE > * (Including Shady Records)

It's not even close. They haven't even put out a group album yet but the tracks they have released as a group are easily better than any other group. Each member has their own unique style, and contribute so much to the overall sound when the come together. They are full of individual personality and have a great combined personality. Seriously their chemistry is better than any other group, probably even duo.

Compare their last group song to Slaughterhouse's last two:

*Didn't even need a hook to capture my attention, it's just that good and entertaining.

Soooooo, buy these albums:

There are more I could post but these are just amazing. Also, you'll like Jay Rock's "Follow Me Home" if you liked "The Documentary" I bet.

Really surprised Strange Music fans don't dick ride him as he is co-signed there and had Tech and Krizz on his album.

Finally check out this for group songs:

Also if it's an Eminem endorsement it takes on this site to make Black Hippy better in your eyes, here it is:

@kendricklamar

Following

So eminem says @absoul reminds him of slim shady. Hmmm I wonder how this year is about to play out. Idk.

Edit: Sorry for double post.
