Not life changing but pretty amazing, best album this year so far....EASILY. Oh btw, MBDTF < channel ORANGE. Anyway, Forest Gump is awkward knowing he's gay but whatever haha.

Forrest Gump is simply groundbreaking and one of the greatest, most intriguing songs I've ever heard. Frank Ocean really really revolutionized this genre and even the subject matter of music with this album. Just incredible. Better than Section.80? Yes. Better than Watch The Throne? Yep. Better than My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy? I'm not sure.. But it's damn close.

By the way, his performance on Jimmy Fallon was terrific.

He can't revolutionize a genre that he isn't even in. He's alternative or r&b, not hip hop. This album is definitly better than all but one of the albums you listed. Anyway, lets not get carried away, it's a good album but you can't say it influenced any genre. It's been out for not even a day, some songs are innovative but nothing is absolutely ground breaking and revolutionary, I know a couple of underground R&B artists that are doing more unique work than Frank. One I'd name is BJ the Chicago Kid, however Frank Ocean has star power and he has done his thing with this album. Let's just not get carried away. And I still believe Section.80 > MBDTF, maybe it's just me.
